The 2008 Gathering in the shot went off a treat and I'm chuffed to be able to say that due to the outstanding turn out on the day we managed to make £800 for the Support the hero's fund, and the Conservative Club took £3200 across the bar.

 It was great to see some of the old faces again, and just as good to see that the lads who are still serving made it along to. "Times may change but the standard of the blokes never does".

A few head counts were made, and just over 100 made it along, 40 of which were Mortarmen. So spread the word chaps and lets get triple that for the next one.

On behalf of everyone I'd like to thank Bob Heaps for jacking up the Con Club, and sorting out the pig, who I have been reliably informed was one of Maggots old chicks.
